Why word by word, and not properly?

A real translator needs a large model or a paid service, and both mean sending every sentence you type to somebody else's computer. This site does not do that — the Guru answers offline, the chapters work offline, and so does this.

What word-by-word is genuinely good for: reading an English question you nearly understand and finding the two or three words blocking you. What it is no good for: writing Hindi. The grammar will be wrong, and a teacher will know.
